Lake Havasu is a place where people come to play! Having a home here, whether full time or part time, is better when you have lots of space to park all those toys! Whether it be a garage big enough to hold your boat, quads, motorcycles, wave runners, jeeps, or the gigantic motor homes that folks have today, bigger is definitely better! Even just having extra space next to your house to park some of those toys makes a huge difference. Many of the builders in town build with garage size in mind. The typical size of newly built homes range from around 1400 sq. ft. to 2200 sq. ft., and the garage is sometimes as big or bigger than the house! The depth of the garage is important, as well as the height of the door, or the door opening. Many of the new homes have a rear garage door too, easier to bring in patio furniture if there is a storm coming or if you'll be out of town for the summer. Many of the newly built homes have a sewer drain and water/electrical hook up in the garage, so if there isn't room on the exterior to park and hook up, then plug in on the inside!
