Cowboys and cowgirls from the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association along with local young calf riders and mutton busters will gather at Sara Park Rodeo Grounds to test their skills at the upcoming Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo and Little Delbert Days.

The mutton busting and calf riding are part of Little Delbert Days from 10-4, a family “old time country fair” event for the kids.  Other activities include gold panning, king of the hill, a roping arena, back hoe challenge, bounce house, ole fishing hole, cow jousting, shooting gallery, cup cake walk, pedal tractor races and more!  Also featured on the Showmobile Stage will be kids karaoke, balloon animals, hula hoop contest and face painting.  The cutest cowboy and cowgirl event for ages 2-12 is sure to be a hit!

The Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo is 1-4 on Sat the 28th and Sunday the 29th and features bareback riding, saddlebronc riding, calf roping, team roping, barrel racing, bull riding, rodeo Queens and the ever popular Rodeo Clowns!

The event was originated by the Friends of the Fair, a local group who’s mission is to promote family equestrian events, 4H, barrel races and team penning.
