There are 3 different distances offered for the triathlon this year – the newest being a half distance which is a 1.2 mile swim, 562 mile bike, and a 13.1 mile run.  It is the oldest triathlon in Lake Havasu with participants from over 35 states competing in one of the premier triathlon races in the nation.  While other parts of the country are still buried in snow, we’ll enjoy 80 degrees plus weather!  Athletes will enjoy one of the best swims in the sport and a challenging bike course.

For those not inclined for a half distance, there is also an Olympic distance which is 1500M swim (.932 miles), a 40K bike (24.85 miles), and a 10K run (6.2 miles).  The Sprint triathlon is a 400M swim (.31 miles), 10 mile bike and 5K run.  There is a distance for everyone!  Great times will be had on the course and after the race, so come on out and participate or cheer on your favorite competitor!
