There are always plenty of things to do in Havasu or close by, especially when the weather cools off!  This month there are at least 3 "turkey" events that will get you moving and help keep calories in check for your Thanksgiving dinner.  On Sat. Nov. 16th, Dr. Bob Novak is hosting the Havasu Turkey Trot on the island.  All proceeds go to the Aquatic and Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund.  The race starts at 9:00 am, see the link for more information and a registration form.  http://www.havasuhustlers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Turkey-Trot-application-2013.pdf

The Kingman Turkey Trot will be on Thanksgiving morning in Kingman http://www.active.com/kingman-az/running/5th-annual-kingman-turkey-trot-2013?keywords=na  see the link for registration and information.

There is also a "Dirty Turkey" trail race and mountain bike race at Sara Park on Nov. 30th. The trail race is a technical and intermediate to advanced course that will definitely challenge you!   http://www.2wheelevents.net/Dirty%20Turkey.htm  The mountain bike race is a looped course, also technical.  See the link for information! http://www.2wheelevents.net/

So take this opportunity to participate in these events and more, invest in your health, and give back to your community too!  See you out there!
