Lake Havasu City has several parks of different kinds located throughout the city for your enjoyment.  There are small local area parks sprinkled about with play stations for the small kids, ramadas to get out of the sun, and benches and picnic tables for relaxing or enjoying a bite to eat. 

     Avalon Park and Dick Samp Memorial Park are located on the north side of town off of Avalon Ave.  Dick Samp Memorial Park has baseball fields that are used for the north side Little League teams and a playground for the kids.  Avalon Park is a quiet park with grass, armadas, a 1/5 mile walking path, play area and new dog park. 

     Centrally located small parks include Yonder Park, Jack Hardie Park, Wheeler Park, and Realtor Park.  Yonder Park is located on Yonder Dr., off of McCulloch Blvd. S.  It has a playground area, bocce ball, picnic ramada, ½ court basketball court, horseshoes and a nature trail.  Realtor Park is located at 3143 Newport Dr.  It is a 3 acre neighborhood park with picnic ramadas, playground area, bocce ball, horseshoe pits and restroom facilities.  Jack Hardie Park is a little bit bigger and located in a quiet residential area off of Baron.  It features 6 picnic ramadas, barbecues, horseshoe pits, restrooms, playground and grassy area for relaxing.  Wheeler park is located in the center of town at 1801 McCulloch Blvd. and hosts many Special Events thorough the year. Celebrations are there on Memorial Day and Veterans Day to honor our soldiers. The Tree lighting ceremony is also a must see event each Holiday Season. 

     Other centrally located larger parks include Rotary Park and Beach, London Bridge Beach and the Island Ball Fields.  There is a new Frisbee park located on the island as well.  Rotary Park is located at 1400 S. Smoketree. This 40 acre beach/park is centrally located and easily accessible from SR 95. This local hot spot is located on the shores of Lake Havasu. It offers picnic facilities, barbecues, three playgrounds (one for persons w/special needs), six beach volleyball courts, 2 park host locations, ball fields, bocce ball courts, buoyed swim area, restrooms, a walking path, and open space areas.  This park is a beautiful location for events and other social gatherings. Located within the park is a brand new huge skate park for a fun-filled day of play. Whether relaxing on the beach or enjoying the vast amenities, this park is sure to please the crowd!  London Bridge Beach is located at 1340 McCulloch Blvd. and just over the London Bridge. This park runs along the Bridgewater Channel, with 12 ramadas, 2 playgrounds, a sand volleyball court and basketball court. Bring the dog to the Lions Dog Park and enjoy the scenery. The Chamber of Commerce Community Stage is available for rentals. With this park the possibilities are endless.  Located at 1150 McCulloch Blvd. This park offers youth and adults a football/soccer field and softball field. Bring bikes or shoes and take off for a trek along the Island Walkway. 

     Special Activities and Recreation Area (SARA) Park is a county leased recreation area that is truly a sports lovers paradise. SARA Park is a regional park located at 7260 S. SARA Park Way, 5 miles south of town. This 1,100 acre park offers a variety of recreational opportunities including softball and baseball fields, a raceway, hiking trails, a BMX track, an area to fly model airplanes, and a shooting range. The new rodeo grounds are a fabulous addition to Sara Park with many different events and fund raisers being held here.  This park is a great place for exercising or just enjoying the day. The SARA Park dog Park is a local hot spot for the pooches. This 2-acre dog park features a fenced area both for small dogs and big dogs. With its grass area, two walking paths (one approximately 1/10 mile and the other approximately 1/5 mile), and 10 covered benches, this park is a bonding spot for both humans and man's best friend.

    Site Six is located at 591 Beachcomber Blvd., and provides boaters with the only "free" public launch ramp in Lake Havasu City. This is an excellent fishing spot with a handicapped accessible fishing pier, fish cleaning station, and small beach area. Whether you plan to spend the day boating or fishing, this is the spot to be! There is no overnight parking or camping allowed.
